LdVCS and Boys & Girls Club Community Opportunity- From Mr. Stepner

Hello LdVCS Community,

I hope you had a wonderful time with family and friends this week! LdVCS has an opportunity to take part in the Starlight Parade this year in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of South County. Our colleague at the club has graciously invited anyone and everyone in the LdVCS community to participate with the B & G Club in the parade. We were invited to wear our LdVCS gear as well. We hope you will be able to join us.

Information on the event and where to meet are below in blue:

Good afternoon

I have received the information for the Starlight Parade. This year the parade starts at 5pm. Check-in starts at 2pm.  Our check in is on 3rd Avenue between I Street and H Street (PINK #41-96) The parents can meet us on 3rd  Avenue by 4:30pm.

As a reminder we start on 3rd and H but the parade ends on 3rd and E St. They might want to park near E St so they will be at their cars when the parade is over. Certain streets will be closed and we can’t take them back to their cars. As a reminder, parents must accompany their child during the duration of the parade. I’m so excited to be a part of the historic event in our community. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Sincerely,

Josh Stepner

Hi Families!  Next Friday we will be hosting a fundraiser at Rubio's to raise money for third grade field trips!  You must have the flyer when you order to earmark money that comes back to the school.  We will be passing these out next week.  Please invite friends, family, sports teams, anyone you can think of who likes tacos:)

Let me know if you would like a stack of flyers, otherwise I will send one home each.  You can also print the attached picture.

Thank you for all your support!
