Mrs. Gianelli

I have been part of the LdV team since 2011.  In my 17 years of teaching I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten, 1st and 4th grades. I grew up here in San Diego.  When I'm not here at school, I like to spend time with my husband and two children. We are a busy family, always doing something.  We might see you around town at the Zoo sometime!  I also volunteer as a Leader of my daughter's Girl Scout Troop.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Did anyone catch a Leprechaun today???  Parents, ask your child to show you how to dance an Irish Jig.  I spied more little leprechauns on Imagine Learning this morning.  I saw that Olivia, Diego, Emilio, Victor, Declan & Yareli joined the others in some learning.
Don't forget about Imagine Math too!

Great Job to Raj, Ryder, Isaiah & Natalie who have logged on to Imagine Learning this week.
Don't forget to read and write it on your March Reading Log!

Spring Break is early this year.

I hope you have read the email from Mr. Stepner.  We will begin our spring break one week early starting this Monday.  We will be returning to school on April 6, 2020.  I have sent home work for your students to do during our long time off.  Please consider having them do a little each day, so that they do not fall behind.  They have made so much progress, let's keep making more progress.  I have included a letter with their 2 work packets that has the webpage for Imagine Learning and Imagine Math.  I also included a new one that the kids really loved.  Don't forget to continue reading and including that on your reading log.
Thank you, stay safe and keep washing your hands.

Thank you for the 3 boxes of Kleenex, we will still need more.  Our class has been using 2 boxes per week.  We have lots of runny noses.
Thank you!
