2020 Fall ZOOM Updated Conference Schedule

Report Card Conferences for Trimester One will be October 26-30.  The end of Trimester 1 is THIS FRIDAY.  Please send me an email ([email protected]) with your top 3 time choices.  
 
*These will be half-days meaning no Zoom in the afternoon except for scheduled conferences*
 
I feel that it is important to conference with each and every one of my students and their parents every trimester. Your son/daughter's progress is important to all of us, and this opportunity is critical to that process.

NEW Teacher Meetings Every Wednesday

Zoom for Math? YES
Zoom for Reading/Writing?  No!
 
To keep the schedule more consistent, teacher meetings and professional developments will now happen every Wednesday starting this week.

Structured Word Inquiry Classes with Mrs. Ungright

What is Structured Word Inquiry?
SWI is  a scientific investigation of words: how word parts, structure, origin, and history over time come together to tell the story of the words that we use now.
SWI es una investigación científica de las palabras: cómo las partes de las palabras, la estructura, el origen y la historia se unen para contar la historia de las palabras que usamos ahora.
 
When/Where is it?
Every Tuesday and Thursday starting on August 25th @ 4:00-4:30
Clases en español son los martes y jueves a las 3:30-4:00
 
Who?
Mrs. Ungright will provide these classes for parents who are interested!
Señora Ungight ensenará las clases para todos los padres que quieren venir.
 
Why Should I Attend?
Breaking down word parts will help your student develop a better understanding of ALL languages (not just English).
