Run Club
I am going to start posting our Run Club newsletters on this platform. Please check here for the latest Run Club News! Below is copies of the text from my first couple of emails. Thank you for your continued support!
Week 2: Good Afternoon,
First, a HUGE thank you to our volunteer coaches. We could not do this without you!!
We are in need of snack donations. If you would like to donate a snack, please bring a non-perishable, healthy, item to your student's PE teacher.
Continuing on with donations, if you indicated that you would make a monetary donation for your student's membership on their registration and have not done so, please send with your student and give to Coach K in an envelope with their name on it. If you would like to change your membership level, please let me know.
Week 1: Good Afternoon DaVinci Caregivers!
Run Club starts tomorrow. If you are receiving this email, your child has successfully signed up :)
In general, the hour spent in Run Club after school will look like the following:
- A timed run where students will try to beat their own score each week
- Station based activities ranging from games, to hurdles, to dashes
- A snack
If your child is in Flash, I will send them to Flash after Run Club. If you are picking your child up after Run Club, please remember that pickup is promptly at 4pm from the field.
Run Club is considered an extracurricular activity; therefore, if your student has missing work, they will not be eligible to participate in Run Club until their work is turned in.
Our first fun run of the year will be Friday, October 26 at Rohr Park. Details are below. Please let me know asap if you would like me to register your child. I have a discount code for the school as well in case you or your family would like to participate in the Fun Run with them.

We will meet at Rohr Park in our LdV Run Club T-shirts that evening. All children must have an adult present that is responsible for them while they are participating.
